Incident Overview
On Wednesday morning, a bridge in Vadodara district, Gujarat, collapsed, causing at least four vehicles to plunge into the river, according to police reports. The incident occurred around 7:30 AM.
Inspector Vijay Charan from the Padra police station stated that rescue operations are currently underway, with four individuals successfully saved so far.
The bridge, located over the Mahisagar River along the state highway, suffered a partial collapse, leading to the fall of two trucks and two vans into the water.
